Headway is here to make a positive change in the way Newaygo County views substance abuse.

We meet bi-monthly to discuss various topics concerning mental health and substance abuse. The coalition meetings are open to all community members and representative agencies who want to free Newaygo County from the abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs among youth and adults.

What is a Lockbox?

A Lockbox is a free box provided by Headway Newago to store your prescription drugs and other illicit substances.

Why use a Lockbox?

The FDA highly encourages the use of lockboxes in every home with teens and children to prevent temptation. Even if you believe your child would not pilfer drugs or marijuana, it’s always better to keep drugs safe from your kids and their peers.
